T-shaped reverse parking method

This is the most commonly used parking method. First of all, if you are new to parking, use only the brakes where possible when parking. There are already a lot of places to look here and there, so it is hectic.

1) Enter the parked vehicles (A and B) with a distance of about 50 cm. The distance from the parked car is important, but it should not exceed 1m so that you can enter more easily.

2) Stop when you think your car’s rear bumper line has reached the middle (red line) of car B.

3) After turning the steering wheel all the way to the right, put in reverse gear and slowly enter the parking space. At this time, through the right side mirror, check the gap between the rear bumper on the passenger side of my car and the front corner on the driver’s side of vehicle B. Next, check the gap between my car and the passenger side corner of vehicle A through the left side mirror.

4) If the space is small, it is better to operate the steering wheel with the feeling of attaching the right rear wheel of your car closer to vehicle B.

5) When the car enters the parking space 1/3 of the way and thinks it is level with the car next to it, release the steering wheel, put it in the middle, and reverse.

6) Check the gap between cars A and B by turning your head directly, and if you get too close to one side, release the steering wheel a little towards the car with a wide gap and go forward, then put the steering wheel in the middle and go backwards to enter.

7) Stop the car when the position of the side mirror is similar to that of the car next to you.
